All the Stellas tours highlights in a paragraph!

2006- Birmingham. Travelodge, Edgbaston, Wast Hills Jam butty, page of its own, little horses, Ricky, big wheel, NFL shop, Smiffy's school, orange shirts.

2005- pink shirts, Smiffy late for minibus and not to be given alcohol before arrival at destination. Funny hotel with nightclub in bar. Wanted posters round town. Cross dressing in the York? 12 players fielding against Porlock, and we didn't even notice!! Piggy bank??? Poor Swifty. Hairy dog, Ledge, on the beach? Baller wins Jabba trophy. So, the 2004 tour passes off, leaving many of the Stellas thinking they are too old for all this. T-shirts were white with red and blue trim, and were deemed suitable by all except Jabba, who complained that extra large wasn’t big enough. It was noted that 72 bottles of beer were drunk in the minibus on the way down. Jabba and Rongo missed the action. The bus was packed as Furry did a sterling job of driving. The accommodation was the York House Hotel. Nice. Karaoke on a Friday night was too much for Smiffy, who disgraced himself by going to bed around 11 o’clock.Saturday morning did not show promise; rain fell up to about 12.30 and the match was in doubt. The sky cleared, however, as Stellas batted. All that sleep did Smiffy no good as he was bowled first ball. Opening partner Baller also notched a duck and Copey soon followed suit with the score on 11-3. Jabba, Hitler and Stumpy tried to rescue the situation, but 89 all out never seemed enough. Porlock knocked off the runs in 20 overs, scattering bowls players along the way.Saturday night saw a curry, with many Stellas having eyes bigger than their bellies. Legend moved into action at the bar, but was blown out. Still, better to have loved and lost etc….Sunday morning was the Jabba trophy, won in thrilling style by Rongo. Sunday afternoon was a match against Roadwater. Stellas bowled and fielded well, especially considering the looseness of many players’ bowels and general hangover conditions. Roadwater played in a very good spirit, always keeping the game alive. Stellas bowled them out for 172, but could muster 148-9 in reply, with stumpy top scoring.
